Robert Plant & Alison Krauss: Raising Sand

Alle porte della reunion più attesa degli ultimi anni - oltre che delle ultime reunion - Robert Plant, il mitico cantante dei Led Zeppelin, ha deciso di pubblicare un album insieme alla star della musica country, Alison Krauss. Il fatto che lei abbia ben 20 Premi Grammy all’attivo e Plant sia convinto della perfetta unione tra rock e country, ha dato origine e forma a Raising Sand, album uscito il 30 ottobre e prodotto dal celebre T Bone Burnett.

Le canzoni, che spaziano nel repertorio blues, R&B, country, sono firmate da autori come Tom Waits, Gene Clark, Little Milton Campbell, Mel Tillis, Townes Van Zandt, Doc Watson, Phil and Don Everly. Dei bei tempi in Raising Sand c’è anche la nuova versione di Please Read the Letter, che faceva parte dell’album di Plant e Jimmy Page Walking Into Clarksdale.
